Hello, Welcome to Panacea Vizslas. Our names our Jeff and Melissa Lembke and we live in Madison Lake, MN. We have been involved with vizslas since 2001, when we brought our first vizsla, Colby home. Before we got him, though, we researched the breed for almost 2 years, talking to different breeders, and meeting a lot of different vizslas. Our first two dogs came from Jakra Vizslas. When we first got Colby, we had no idea what type of fun owning these dogs would lead us to. We participate in many activities with our dogs, including conformation, agility, obedience, and rally. But most importantly to our dogs, we hunt with them. It always amazes me how willing they are to please us and are always up to learning new things.
We are proud of the fact that our dogs are as versatile as they are, and hope to continue that versatility in future generations as we plan our litters. We only occasionally have puppies available, with much thought and research going into each litter.
We are members of the Key City Kennel Club, where Melissa is the Secretary. She has also been an obedience instructor and taught basic obedience classes. We are also members of the Twin Cities Vizsla Club, where Melissa has served on the Board of Directors and has been the Show Chairman for the May Specialty. We also belong to the national breed club, The Vizsla Club of America.
